Our Story

We are Walt and Kristina Sturek. It seems like a lifetime ago when we bought this small mountain and made the decision to build. It is our dream to one day (not too many years away) live in Lewisburg permanently, take care of our Airbnb guests, garden and just slow down and enjoy life. 

 

Now let's get to the good part... 

This is Cookie Top Mountain. Cookie is our English Springer Spaniel. Yes, we named our mountain after our dog! (Not sure our children will ever forgive us). Cookie joined our family in 2019, and quickly became the "favorite child" and love of our lives. We wanted to create a place where not only families, but also their fur babies could enjoy. A place where nature could take hold and you can unplug for a few short days or even longer! We hope you choose to stay at Cookie Top Mountain and enjoy it here as much as we do.
